Which clock source is used for the watchdog, does it use the main 16MHz-crystal or does it use a seperate clock source (external 32 kHz crystal or internal RC16M, RC32k or RCX)?
cl看门狗计数器连接到系统ock and is divided by the required value to get a 10.24ms clock. That is done automatically by HW, SW doesn't have to do anything to adjust the frequency. The system clock is either provided by the the 16MHz clock or the 32KHz clock according to which one is active at the given moment, the watchdog is deactivated when the 58x is in sleep mode.
Thanks for your answer. I was hoping that it used an independent oscillator for the watchdog (so it would be able to reset the system even if the main oscillator fails) but I see that's not the case.
