We have already designed a custom board, with SPI pins P0_0 as CLK, P0_1 as CS, P0_2 as MISO and P0_3 as MOSI. The device has to boot from flash. Is there any work around, for overriding the default pin configuration required for booting from flash ? Please suggest.

I would like to know the significance/purpose of setting peripheral as SPI MASTER in booting sequence. It is already stated that, for device to boot from flash, flash has to be configured as SPI SLAVE and dialog chip as SPI master, with predefined configurations. So, what does boot from SPI MASTER refer to?

I want to send a file from mobile to DA14585.
If I set max_mtu of DA14585 to 255, and every time the app sends 240 bytes to DA14585 until the file has been transmitted.
The connection interval is 40ms, I am not sure how many packets (maybe 6?) per connection interval.
Each packet contains 20 bytes, right?
6 packets * 20 bytes = 120 bytes, so 240 bytes should be sent about 80 ms, is that true?
I use a debug pin to estimate, we find that DA14585 receives 240 bytes data just about every 40 ms, why?

I am using custom board with DA 14585 chip. I have configured P0_0 as CLK, P0_1 as CS, P0_2 as MISO and P0_3 as MOSI. The firmware is copied into flash using smart snippets toolbox. The requirement is to boot the device from flash. But, this is not happening. Is it because the of the pins configured ?
Is it mandatory to use P0_0 as CLK, P0_3 as CS, P0_6 as MOSI, and P0_5 as MISO, for the device to boot from flash ?

I want to add push button switches as a user interface in my project. So is there any protection against the switch bounce in DA14585 internally. Is there any need to add an external debounce circuit?

In the datasheet, it was mentioned that due to the crosstalk between XTAL16Mp and P1_2 and P1_3 pins of DA14585, an error may occur during transmission. Is it safe to connect sensor interrupts lines to these pins.

I'm using the DA14585 Basic Dev-Kit with the 6.0.6 SDK, trying to run the SUOTA Tutorial (number 6). I've faced a few problems that I would like to question.
1. There's no DA1458x_SUOTA_Multipart_Binary_Generator_0.rar on the DA14585 Software & Tools page. I've had to download it from the DA14583. Is there a reason for this?
2. The SUOTA tutorial ask you to use a ble_585_sw_version.h file to generate the .img files. This file doesn't exist on the SDK 6.0.6 (or I have been unable to find it).

I have 2 images with sizes of 27kB. Then for the dual image bootloader configuration I set the following memory location:
MEM_LOC_FOR_FW_1_IMG = "0x8000"
MEM_LOC_FOR_FW_2_IMG = "0x1F000"
MEM_LOC_FOR_PRODUCT_HEADER = "0x38000"
It could not boot. But when I changed it to the following:
MEM_LOC_FOR_FW_1_IMG = "0x4000"
MEM_LOC_FOR_FW_2_IMG = "0x1F000"
MEM_LOC_FOR_PRODUCT_HEADER = "0x38000"
It booted successfully.

We are using custom manufactured board with DA 14585 chipset. The external flash being used is winbond flash memory w25x20cl. While trying to access the flash using smart snippets toolbox(v 4.8.3.1804 ), the chip is getting successfully connected, but the read, write or erase operations are not working. Kindly suggest the reasons for the same.
