Hi dialog :
My products have some problem in CE certification the parts RX SE of R&TTE RSE is Failed, and Test Engineer tell me the SpuriousEmission Interference of my product is little Beyond the standard. The detailed is show in PDF file of test report .The Chip can match the antenna automatic? Do you have some Suggest?

Hi Lane,
Please check the following post and FAQ for more info about the required antenna matching.

Hi Dialog :
I just want to reduce SpuriousEmission Interference of my product. is the SpuriousEmission Interference can be reduced,if my antenna optimal matching is achieved with a 3.9nH shunt inductance?
Hi Lane,
with the 3.9nH shunt inductor close to the RFIOp pin of the package, the RFIO pin of the DA14580 is nicely matched to 50 Ohm.
When having a 50 Ohm PCB trace and a 50 Ohm antenna, no additional matching would be needed.
If the antenna is a PCB printed type, additional tuning and matching is required for the antenna for optimal radiation and best range.
Not sure whether this influences the emission much, unless there's a resonance at that frequency.
What is measured in the attached plot: is it emission having the DA14580 in Rx mode (receiving)?
If so, the limit is indeed -47 dBm.
Will check with our RF team on this.
Best regards, BB_Dialog.
Dialog Customer Support.
Hi Lane,
the RF antenna matching etc. would not affect the Rx spurious emission.
A fe wthings to check:
EN300328 states the limit in dBm, not dBm/m. Please check this with the test house.
Further: are the required settings applied? EN300328 Ch 7.3 spurious emissions measurement methods states following:
RBW = VBW = 100 KHz
Detector mode: positive peak
Averaging: off
Span: 100 MHz
扫描时间:1秒
Best regards, BB_Dialog.
Hi Dialog:
That‘s no the DA14580 in Rx mode(receiving)?
Certification department check the SpuriousEmission is to check DA14580’s electromagnetic interference to other systems or devices in all frequency. That we can see in the RX SE.PDF, my product was over limit in frequency about 4.8GHz.
