SmartSnippets not connecting via JLink when trying to burn OTP

Fri,2018-02-09 12:00--felipe.ferrazzi

Hello,

I'm currently trying to burn the OTP on a DA14580 using a JLink interface and SmartSnippets.

When I open a new SS project, I select the JTag button and the software recognizes the JLink device successfully, however upon hitting the connect button in the OTP tab I get an answer stating that it was unable to establish a connection.

Good Afternoon,

我从板上购买了Pan1740评估套件。我想自定义信标的标识符字符串(当前根据UM-B-019所示的值设置)。

How can I go about doing this? I have found reference to using the Smart Tag (proximity) samples from the SDK, but the software did not want to boot after programming (at least I could not see anything in the Locate application).

Thank you in advance for an indication of where I might be able to look for more information.

Best regards,
Mathew

One PAN1740 as Master

Sun, 2016-10-09 09:52--gert186

Hi,
I have an understanding question.
I have one PAN1740 USB and one self designed and programmed one. The self programmed one is device and the PAN1740 USB is master in a DSPS confernece.
The question is know:
Does the two connect it together on there own, or have I to do or define something like name of device?

Can someone support me with some answears?

Best regards
Gert

extended Sleep mode

Wed, 2015-08-12 14:22--aley_i

Hi I'm evaluating the DSPS on the PAN1740 module on a USB dongle, and everything work fine as long as I have disabled the extended sleep and flow control.

然而,我正试图了解睡眠的工作程度,似乎没有Systick定时器,一旦处理器在调用global_int_stop()后处理器进入睡眠状态;它是如何醒来的?所有中断都被禁用。

My second question is it seems that after enabling extended sleep mode the DA14580 is stuck in this condition:

DSPS crash PAN1740

Thu, 2015-07-23 10:14--Aeris

Hello,

I use the DSPS device keil project and have only modify this parameters :
- nvds.c : NVDS_TAG_UART_BAUDRATE to 19200, and NVDS_TAG_DEVICE_NAME
- periph_setup.h : TX to P0.6, RX to P0.7, RTS to P0.4, CTS to P0.5
- uart_sps.h : UART_SPS_BAUDRATE set to UART_BAUDRATE_19K2

I use hardware flow control, 8N1 UART and PAN1740 USB stick connected to a PIC16 custom board.
I use a custom DSPS based Android app.
If the PIC don't respect baud rate the PAN1740 crash and I lost the BT connection...

Cannot Detect PAN1740 in UART/SPI mode with Smart Snippets

星期四,2015-07-16 19:29凡--Krutarth

Hi ,
I have two questions:
< 1 >当我得到一个错误n i start Smart Snippets "FTDI Driver's installation is not valid. ftd2xx.dll could not be found in folder C:\Windows\System32." I am not sure whether this is related to the problem that i have described in my next question.

<2>I am not able to detect PAN1740 module in UART/SPI mode in Smart Snippets which is essential to use power profiler. However I am able to detect in UART only or JTAG only mode and also program via those modes.

Thanks for the help in advance.

Thanks and Regards,

UART with PIC receiving issue

Thu, 2015-07-16 11:28--Aeris

Hello, again :p

My PIC can't receive data from the PAN1740 USB dongle.
I try to dialog with dongle and USB UART : working
I try to dialog with PIC and USB UART : working
I plug PIC to dongle, all work with flow control but PIC don't receive...
The DSPS android app see flow control and can send data.

PIC have internal weak pull-up on RX and CTS.
PIC enable it reception, then put RTS up and wait for interrupt. I try to add a 1ms delay before setting RTS, change nothing.

SPS stops advertising

星期四,2015-02-05 00:45--christopher.j.m...

I am using the PAN1740-USB evaluation system and trying to get the latest SPS code to work. I have been able to successfully build and debug my system after configuring the right SWD flash tools. When running the latest code I had to comment out all the forced assembly instruction breakpoints. Finally I was able to get the device to advertise, however this is only once per debug session. If I start a new debug session and am scanning for BLE devices I see the DA1458x appear, however it only does this once. Even a reset cannot get the device to re-advertise.
