Directed mode advertising

Thu, 2018-12-13 21:46--rajshah

Hello Dialog team

I am working on DA14680 chip, example code pxp_reporter. My questions, how we can connect device in directed mode?
Do we need bonding process for it? If yes then how we can do bonding process?
I have read UM-B-044 document and also looked into ble_usbhid_device code. but I didn't get much information.
Simply device should be advertising as a directed mode and specific phone can listen advertising packet.

Any help will be appreciated.

Thanks
Raj

Issue with sleep mode in low voltage situation

Tue, 2018-08-21 15:39--jetsonindustries

Hey Team,
We have a device using PXP_reporter project.
When we put the device in extended sleep mode, it advertises for 8 seconds then stops if the voltage is less than 2.90V.
If the voltage is over 2.90V we don't have a problem and the device maintains advertising and operates fine.
While not in sleep mode the device operates fine right down to 2.17V which is our curcuits minimum voltage.

Hardware Locked From Factory?

Mon, 2017-10-09 23:12--nshineCEPD

Hello,

Is the DA14680 locked at the time of purchase i.e. do you need to use SmartSnippets or another tool to "unlock" it before it can be flashed? Some other MCU's won't even show up in the debugger unless it is unlocked first. I am not able to see the MCU through JTAG on our custom board, but can see an MCU on the pro dev kit.

Thanks,

Nick

Executing from Flash

Thu, 2017-06-22 01:01--MThib

Hello,

We are considering the DA14680 for a BLE application, however, there are several time sensitive actions that we wish to take with it. A few clarifications on the flash management would be much appreciated.

1) If flash is being erased, can we still execute Bluetooth operations? The datasheet states that when flash is being erases, the chip must run from RAM or the Cache, but I understand that Bluetooth reads from the ROM and that interrupts should be disabled when flash is being erased. Is there a way to get around these limitations?

DA1468x Vcharge < 3V

Thu, 2016-09-08 17:20--kriede

Hi,

we want to use the Murata UMAC Lithium ion battery as the primary power source. It has a charge voltage of 2.7V with a capacity of 3mAh, more than enough for our case.

According to the data sheet of DA1468x, unfortunately the charge voltage of the built-in Constant Current/Constant Voltage charger can only be set down to a minimum of 3V.
有什么其他选择收取这个电池type with the built-in charger? Maybe with a few additional components (not talking about a seperate charger IC)?

Thank you for any hint
