Dialog,
In UM-B-041 DA14580_581_583_Production_Line_Tool.pdf, it says the PLT uses *uart* to burn, but in beacon reference design, it looks burning through TC2050-IDC-NL which is connected to chip through *SWDIO and SWCLK*. Please look at the attachment. Am I understanding correctly? then what is your recommendation?
Another understanding is that:
In beacon design, it burns through flash and uses *SWDIO and SWCLK* for debugging purpose and if we want to use the OTP, we have to use uarts to burn?

Hi achao1104,
With PLT tool you can only program your boards via UART only and not via jtag. The jtag connections you have attached for the beacon is in order to program the DUT via the expert kit through Jtag. With the PLT tool you can burn/program OTP/SPI/EEPROM only via UART via the interface program.

Hello, I currently bought and now working on PLT. Does this board require special driver? I tried to run CLI entering "i",and then params\\params.ini, after that it says that parameters are loaded successfully, but after I entered "s" it hangs and nothing happens. Upon opening the source code, I saw that it looks for "DialogSemi" SN for a device.
Hi RyanHernadez,
The PLT doesn't requires any special drivers. Only the FTDI drivers that they should be installed as soon as you plug the tool on the pc. There are two FTDI-interfaces used:
Please check the following linkhttp://www.ftdichip.com/Drivers/CDM/CDM%20v2.12.14%20WHQL%20Certified.zipfor the drivers.
