Pulse width for external wake up mechanism via RTS

Hi

I was reading the application note for external wake up mechanism via UART, and saw that the RTS line must be pulsed by the host.

What is the minimum amount of time for which the line must be held high before going low again so that the wake up is guaranteed ?

Hi ankitdaf,

Hi ankitdaf,

When the 580 is in sleep mode the width of the pulse varies and depends on the LP clock that the device is using, using the 32KHz clock the width is about 15us and using the RCX20 is 30us. To be certain that this will always work we strongly advice to double that time, so 30us and 60us respectively.
