Smartcanvas DA9061/2 system state LEDs

The UM-PM-008 Smartcanvas DA9061/2 user’s manual is a handy reference to have when using the DA9062-Eval3 board. However, I cannot find a thorough description on how the LED-type indicators along the bottom of the “DA9062 INI File Control” work. For instance, most of the time when I power up the DA9062-Eval3 board, the yellow ‘Sys’ LED comes on and the DUT stays in the that state. One time when I powered-up, however, it went straight to ‘Act’ and stayed there throughout the duration of my session. But how do we cycle through the ‘Reset’, ‘PD’, ‘Sys’, ‘Pwr’, ‘Act’, and ‘Pwr 1’? In other words, what are the actions that one needs to take in Smartcanvas to progress the DUT from one state to the other and what exactly does it mean when the DUT is in the 'Sys', 'Act', 'Pwr', or 'Pwr 1' state?

Thanks

Hello,

Hello,

When you load in a new .ini file, i would recomend pressing nSHUTDOWN/nRESETREQ and allowing the device to reset and perform an OTP read.

As for SYS, ACT, PWR, PWR1, they all states within the statemachine, you can define some opertions of these states within the sequeincer. Please see page 6 of the developer guide:
