Hi Support,
during start up of the SmartSnippets Studio this light blue window pops up with SDK Tools summary.
The required tools are listed, such as Segger Ozone / J-Link / GNU Tools / SystemView.
Except for the last one, the tools are listed with required and installed versions, which match perfectly.
But for 'SystemView for Windows', there is only the required version 2.34 shown, whereas the Installed version shows only a dash '-'.
The package for SystemView was downloaded from SEGGER with its name 'Setup_SystemView_V242.exe'. It is installed with the executable here:
"C:\Program Files (x86)\SEGGER\SystemView_V242\SystemView.exe".
In the next screen there comes this question about "Required version is already installed" or "Download and install the required version". Neither of both options is working. When choosing "Required version is already installed" with the path for Systemview.exe browsed, a red cross appears saying 'Segger SystemView executable could not be found in folder C:\Program Files(x86)\SEGGER\SystemView_V242'. What can be wrong here?
当我试着下载并安装required version', the button 'Download' appears, the action for it is for a few seconds there is activity and then nothing changes. Where is this version downloaded?
Overall, how can can i get this Segger Systemview working?

Hi Stefan_Dialog,
We are checking on that issue, i suspect that this is because the versions of the Segger that the Smart Snippets is looking for aren't available, so you can just download the latest version of the System Viewer and use that from the the SEGGER site. There are also some guidelines in order to setup the System Viewer into a project, check the UM-B-044 Software Platform Reference.pdf in Appendix D.

Any insight on this? I can run SystemView.exe from the directory fine. It's just SmartSnippets SDK Tools Installer that can't find it.

Hi colin,
I suppose that you get somekind of error or missing the System View (even when applying the proper path) when installing System View via Smart Snippets. The Smart Snippets checks for the versions that currently supports (the version that it supports doesn't exist on SEGGER site and thats why you get the error). You can have the version of System View you mention and attach it to Smart Snippets by going to Window -> Preferences -> Run/Debug and from the drop down select the SEGGER System View, in the dialog set the folder that the current version of System View is installed and the SystemView.exe .
