I am using board DA14580DEVKT-B. I want to program it through Smart snippet studio and I am not getting the way to do that. I am not getting idea what does the smart snippet tool used for.
If this software is present then why we are using tera term to program the board?

For user instructions you can have a look at the Smart Snippets tool in the help option (the question mark on the top of the tool) and select the User Guide.pdf that will provide you with sufficient info regarding the usage of the tool. Regarding what it is for, the tool involves a number of tools which can be used in order to measure power (only for the pro kit), burn a flash or an eeprom, download code directly to the sysram etc. The tool can either use the UART in order to do so or the JTAG interface.

Thank you, It worked for me. I have one doubt I tried to program the board DA14580devkt- basic using over JTAG, Can I program it using SPI or flash. Does it make any difference?

There are two available options in order to program the 580 using the Smart Snippets tool and those are either via UART or JTAG. If you wish to download code via either means, for example an external controller via SPI or I2C or via an external flash the 580 has the proper infasrtructure, you can have a look at the AN-B-001 - Booting from serial interfaces and check which interfaces are available.
