Hello
I am trying to use cli_programmer with
- Linux Ubuntu LTS 18.0.4
- Segger Jlink 6.4
- Dialog DA14683 USB Dev Kit
- SDK DA1468x_DA15xxx_SDK_1.0.14.1081
I end up with "cannot open gdb interface"
Please find attached jlink.log
Can you please indicate me
- supported version of these tools ?
- known bugs / workaround to have these tools working ?
- documentation to rebuild various required binaries ?
Thank you in advance
Device:
I tried to downgrade to Jlink 5.12j. same result
See jlink.log attached.
Thank you
I tried other scripts in the sdk
- reboot_device.sh is ok
- erase_qspi_jtag.sh end up with the same error "cannot open gdb interface"
- program_qspi_jtag.sh "cannot open gdb interface"
Thank you
I found a working combination
Jlink 6.34e GDB server under windows together with cli_programmer.exe launched without the qspi scripts.
This allows me to flash the usb dev kit.
The same under linux does not work.
Hibobspam@free.fr,
Let me check it the Jlink 6.34e GDB server is compatible with Linux Ubuntu LTS 18.0.4 and I will let you know as soon as possible.
Thanks, PM_Dialog
Can I reopen this issue? I have the exact same problem and am bummed this thread never came to a conclusion.
I am using J-Link 6.12i, but all other paramters are the same (14683 dev board, SDK, Ubuntu 18).
Thanks!
