Device not "completely" awake

Hello!

i have been doing some tests on my custom board and i think it is not waking up. The device i made is supposed to wake up, activate a vibration motor and then go to sleep. First i did some connection tests when i deactivated the sleep mode worked fine (around 900mA when the motor is off). Then i did the test when extended mode was active and the sleep mode current consumption was around 140mA and when it "wakes up" i read 500mA max. But the problem is that i can´t activate the vibrator motor anymore.

My guess is that it doesn´t fully awake. Any idea what's going on?

Thank you.

Hi vrabo,

Hi vrabo,

The description is a little vague and need more insight into the application.
Also, the current numbers seems very much OFF from what we usually see. Can you review the wakeup and sleep currents. Is there any other componets drawing current when the 580 is in sleep.

When the device wakeup, can you connect to the device?
Can you test this application on a Dev Kit and see if you the correct responses? So we isolate the issues in hardware and software.

Best,
