I have the da14695 development kit pro and I have just ran a couple basic programs on it. I was wondering how I would go about creating a custom characteristic.

In the code overview section you will find the source code and how to declare a custom characteristic. I would suggest you to read this tutorial and let me know if you have any follow up question. If you are starter with DA1469x product, I would recommend you to read first theUM-B-092: DA1469x Software Platform Reference Manualdocument to understand the SDK architecture and then continue with the Tutorials.
