Dear Dialog support,
previously we have been working with Bluegiga devices (BLE121LR). In the Bluegiga environment one uses a USB BT dongle (sold from Bluegiga), and can then use a Windows software called "BLE Gui" that allows to connect to BT clients, read services, etc. Also they provide a Python library to use their dongle, which allowed us to build an extensive Python-based framework to develop and evaluate our firmware.
Does Dialog offer something similar?
Our current project uses a DA14585 (Inventek module), and we would like to have a BT5LE capable dongle to evaluate it.
我们有DA14695-00HQDEVKT-U,可以这样be configured as a BT5LE dongle? I have read about the DSPS, but it sounds to me like this is a UART-over-BT-bridge application, and not actually a BT5LE host that can be used to make connection to random peripherals.
It would be nice to have a Python driver with it, or to know that it could be used with Linux' GattTool or similar.
If this is not possible, can you recommend a generic BT5LE dongle that is suitable for this?
Best regards
Johannes
