Apple Homekit with DA14681 Pro

Hi !
I have DA14681 Pro Development Kit which is a motherboard + daughter board.
I would like to have Apple Homekit running on my kit. Please find below my questions in this regard:
* Do I need any additional hardware to get that done ?
*有项目(苏的一个例子rce code) that illustrates how to make use of DA14681 Pro all together with Apple Homekit ?
* Is there an android app that I can use to send commands to my DA14681 Apple Homekit via BLE ?
* How to connect home devices to the kit ? I mean which pins are needed to drive a transistor that drives a relay for example ? are there other better ways to drive electric loads ?

Thank you very much in advance !

Hi,

Hi,

To get started with our HomeKit solution you will first need to request access to the SDK and documentation, you can do this using the following link:

https://support.dialog-semiconductor.com/connectivity/request-homekit-so...

This includes an example project (with source code) and an iOS based application.

Note that you will have to supply your MFI account number as Apple require that we check this is valid before sending the SDK.

Best regards

Thank you for your answer.

Thank you for your answer.

But I still need to know whether I need additional hardware.

Also, does that mean there is no android app for it ?

Finally what is that MFI account ?

I really appreciate that you answer each of these questions separately.

Thank you !

Hi,

Hi,

If you plan to produce a HomeKit based product you need to register with Apple and join their MFI program. Once you have done this they will give you an MFI account number that you can then submit to us when you request the SDK.

There is no Android App - this is an Apple standard that supports only iOS and MAC OS.

No additional hardware is required to get started - when it comes to certifying your product you'll need hardware that contains an MFI chip (which you can purchase from one of Dialog's distributors).

Best regards

Thank you for your prompt

Thank you for your prompt answer !

After having Apple Homekit SDK, which programming language is used to program the DA14681 Pro Kit ?

And is it possible to develop under Windows ?

Thank you.

Hi,

Hi,

All firmware for the DA14681 is developed using the 'C' programming language.

Our HomeKit SDK and development tools are available for both Windows and MAC OS platforms.

Best regards
