About how to make sleep operation without flow control

Hello dialog.
now i work without flow control and no sleep mode.
but i wanaa make sleep mode.
Is it possible to make sleep operation without flow control?
If possible, what kind of change should I make?

Hi Kaito,

No, its not possible to have sleep mode and no flow control and the reason for that is quite simple, how will the external device know when the 580 is sleeping and when the device is awake in order to send data. This is the reason why flow control is so important on DSPS, even with no sleep mode S/W flow control is advised if you dont want to use the additional CTS / RTS signals.
