Step Counter Power Consumption

嗨,支持!

I am looking at Tabel.17(Page 41) of "UM-B-077 DA14681 Wearable Development Kit Hardware Manual".

This value of 3.31uA is considered to be the value of current consumption
when BMI160 and BMM150 are set to the "Suspend Mode(NOT Active)".

With this wearable kit, how much current will be consumed by the sensor itself
when using the BMI160's step-counter function?

Regards,

Jun-ichi

Hi Jun-ichi,

Hi Jun-ichi,

We haven't performed the power consumption of the device for this kind of use case, but you can have a look at the BMI160 datasheet where the power consumption of the sensor while in step counter is mention, about (5uA in step detector / step counter each).
