Good day,
Consider the following scenario:
The minimal connections are made according to the hardware app-notes you posted. So there is a DA 14680 SoC on a PCB with components. How can this device now be programed?
How can the program files developed, using your software packages and development kits, be loaded onto the PCB for the programming of the PCB?
Can this be done using the JTAG ports of the DA14680?
Do you have any reference designs showing such a use case? I am using Altium software in the event you are kind enough to provide me with any PCB files.
Thanks in advance for your assistance.

Hiaaron.roopnarine@sta.uwi.edu,
You are able to program the DA14680 through UART or through JTAG if you have the JTAG interface on you custom board. Regarding the reference designs, the schematics and PCB files are available in our support page. Could you please clarify what you exactly want to do? As an example you can check the DA14681 Wearable Development Kit reference design.

Good day,
Is it possible for you to direct me to the schematic + PCB files for this device? I use Altium. I am not seeing it on the link you have there.
Thanks in advance.
Hiaaron.roopnarine@sta.uwi.edu,
In order to download the schematics and the PCB of the DA14681 Wearable Development Kit reference design, please follow the next steps. For downloading it, visit oursupport pagehttps://support.dialog-semiconductor.com/and then enter to the“Connectivity: Bluetooth low energy & 802.15.4”. From the top menu bar click to the“Ref designs”and then select“Wearables”. After that, click to the“DA14681 Wearable Development Kit”from the drop-down menu that will be appeared.
Thanks, PM_Dialog
Hi,
I did exactly what you said. However, the only files relating to the PCB design is for Allegro. So when I attempt to open it using Altium, it required that I install Cadence Allegro- a software I do not have. Please provide me with PCB + Schematic Files for the Wearable Main board in a format that can be viewed through Altium.
Based on the resources you pointed me to, I require the exact dimensions for the JTAG debug header as well as well as the details of the IDC cable you used to connect the Wearable to the Programming Interface board. My hope is to get these through your Schematic and PCB files. If not then, I hope that you would provide these details to me otherwise.
Thanks in advance.
Regards,
Aaron.
Hiaaron.roopnarine@sta.uwi.edu,
The schematics and the PCB of the DA14681 Wearable Development Kit, are only available in this format. So, it is strongly recommended to download and install the Cadensce Allegro tool.
