Hi,
We're thinking about how to prepare for FCC certification of our new product that's built around the DA1468x. Application note AN-B-043 is helpful, but suggests connecting the certification lab equipment directly to the device under test (in the example, a Pro-DK). Our product consists of a PCB with the DA1468x and antenna enclosed in an injection molded plastic shell. Thus, I would imagine we'll need to remove UART and its wiring harness and close our enclosure during certification. Do you have guidance on how to control the DA1468x during certification when the PCB is within an enclosure?
Thanks,
David

Hi david_33021,
The FCC tests are done via sending commands over UART, you will have to expose those pins outside of the enclosure in order to send the appropriate commands to the device and complete the FCC tests. Although since the housing is plastic i dont think that will affect the measurements, but in any case you can just issue the command, leave it transmitting for example and then detach the UART and apply the enclosure.
