Hello Dialog support team,

I want to change PWM duty dynamic(using Timer2).
There is phenom that PWM output become high level between one cycle.
I attach snapshot of PWM output.

I read "Figure 48: Timer 2 PWM Block Diagram" in DA14580 datasheet.
I think that this phenomenon is caused by a comparator of DUTY.
When T2_DUTY_CNTR equal PWM2_DUTY only, PWM output become Low level.
But when PWM2_DUTY set a value less than T2_DUTY_CNTR, PWM output keep High level between one cycle.

I think this phenomenon is occurring in the attached snapshot

Hi,

I do not understand the functions of ALC_INTEG_RELEASE and ALC_INTEG_ATTACK described in the DA 7212 data sheet.

ALC_INTEG_RELEASE :
Sets the rate at which the input signal envelope is tracked as the signal gets smaller
00 = 1/4
01 = 1/16
10 = 1/256
11 = Reserved (Do not use)

What are the function of ALC_INTEG_RELEASE and ALC_INTEG_ATTACK in the ALC_CTRL3 register?

Hi,

I am experiencing periodic issues with the ALC in the DA7212 codec. The system is running Linux and uses the DA7213 SoC driver provided by Dialog Semi.

The issue is that sometimes the ALC does not recover after it has lowered the gain. It seems like the issue is triggered by a sudden high input on the microphones which causes the ALC to turn down the gain but it never turns the gain back up.

ALC_ATTACK = 44/fs
ALC_RELEASE = 176/fs

ALC_INTEG_RELEASE = 1/4
ALC_INTEG_ATTACK = 1/4
ALC_HOLD = 62/fs

DSPS - RS232 receive data

Hello,

Using DSPS device app and code, does the module wakes up automatically when incoming data arrives? Does the device asks for permission to send data via RS232? Is there an application note describing the behavior in more detail?

I can send date from a controller to the BL module and see this data also within the DSPS app but I am not able to send data from the DSPS app to the device. I double checked all the connection and they seem functional.
