Compliance of 100uA source

Fri, 2018-11-16 16:03--Adrian Freed

I am trying to compare an external resistance value using the constant current source option for comparators to establish
the voltage.

The data sheet for SLG46533 suggests the constant current is sourced from 1.8v (and says input has to be less than 1.8v)
but I still don't know the compliance of the source.

the data sheet for SLG46880 and SLG46826 omits the current source which is available optionally on cmp0 in comparator or pin schematic

the data sheet for the SLG46620 has a the source in the schematic doesn't indicate where the current comes from.

I have been working on this for quite some time and I am unable to get my custom board working. When I attach my board through the development board I get the message "No devices have been detected."

My custom board is .4mm thick if it matters.

C1 - C4 CL05A105MQ5NNNC
Crystal - 7M-16.000MEEQ-T
Inductor - CV201210-2R2K

I think the most likely area of problem would be around C3 and C4 with the meander line. This is a pretty simple design and I'm not sure where else to check.

Total expected data in OTP

Hello,
The DA14580 datasheet and several posts on this forum state that there is 32kB OTP memory available for our code, but as I noticed today (and confirmed in this forum post:https://support.dialog-semiconductor.com/forums/post/dialog-smartbond-bl...), there is a segment at the top of OTP that can have production information pre-written on it.

Continuous scan problem

Thu, 2018-11-15 12:59--attila.horvath

Hello!

I use DA14580 with SDK 3.0.8 and after some times I have an issue with scanning.

I need continuous scanning, so there isn't sleep. The problem is after random times the BLE module doesn't scan any BLE devices. We test it such as place many BLE beacons surround the scanner device.

Theres's any well known issue with the scanning or some stack problem?

Please help as soon as possible. Thank you!

Best regards,
Attila Horváth

Is using DA14580 with external processor will increase the power consumption ??

Wed, 2018-11-14 18:56--aalsubhi

Hello there,

I'm planning to use DA14580 with MSP430 processor, but I have a concern about the power consumption of the system. Is using DA14580 with the external processor will consume more power than using it with the built-in processor.

I appreciate your help.
