Hi ,

I just bought another DA14580DEVKT-B this week. However , unlike the first DA14580DEVKT-B i have , when i plugged in i cant get JLINK CDC UART PORT to appear. I dont think it the my computer driver as i can still plug in my old DA14580DEVKT-B and get the port to appear in my device list. With the new device it doesnt appear.

DSPS Flow control

Mon, 2019-06-10 16:51--RobS

Hi Dialog,

Configuration - the DSPS firmware on a DA14580 (PAN1740) with external micro processor.

1) RTS,从DA14850在相同的脉冲terval as the sleep when there is no data to be sent, this causes problems with waking the external processor. Is there any way to over come this?

2) Asserting the CTS, to the DA14850 doesn't seem to have any affect on waking it up, resulting in unreliable data transmission, the only solution is to disable sleep, and then much more current is consumed. Is there any way to fix these issues?

Replacement of BootROM by customer specific boot loader

Mon, 2019-06-10 09:12--pmor

Hello Dialog Support Team,

Is there a way to permanently disable execution of the default BootROM code? (For example, by setting some fuse bits or something similar.) The goal is to write customer specific boot loader without use of the default BootROM code. Is it possible to achieve this goal somehow?

If this question was already answered, please, provide the link to the answer.

Thanks.

Crystal oscillator in SLG46533V

Fri, 2019-06-07 15:37--dbvanhorn

I'm having no luck with the crystal oscillator block.

My crystal is custom made, 14.7 MHz. I applied the 15pF caps from pins 16 1nd 17 to ground, and the 500 ohm feedback resistor.

Oscillator is enabled, with no matrix PD. The oscillator "PWR UP" pin in designer refuses to connect to Gnd, VCC, or POR, so I assume that is not needed.

Both lines just sit quietly at 1.5V.

There is no short between pins 16 and 17, I read 500 ohms

UART with PAN1740

Thu, 2019-06-06 15:30--Gandhi

Hi,

I have a PAN1740 board. I would like to have a serial communication. I have read some answers from previous posts and I have followed all the steps to enable the UART .

However no success. I only see some gibberish on teraterm.

Here I am using ble_security project.

The steps I followed are:

1.#define CFG_PRINTF

2. in GPIO eservations function:

#ifdef CFG_PRINTF_UART2

DA9070 Buck Regulator Enabled on Power-Up?

Wed, 2019-06-05 00:09--MSchell007

Just want to verify that the buck converter is enabled by default on power-up. On page 106 of the datasheet, Buck Enable is shown to be a zero on power-up. Should this be described as a "Buck Enable Not" function? A zero in bit 7 of register 0x0030 enables the buck output? I assume the default output is 2.0V. Thanks.
