platform_reset() does not reboot the board

Sun, 2015-06-07 11:14--gouzhuang

嗨对话框支持,

I was testing SUOTA from an Android phone to a board the copies the SmartTag ref design. Everything was successful but the last step: Reboot the device. It looked like the device was hung somewhere, the firmware was not started as there was no advertising. If I hard reset the device by removing and re-inserting the battery, then it boots up normally with the updated firmware.

I looked into the spota code and found the following in app_spotar.c. We can see that it actually calls platform_reset()

Antenna Of Dice

Sat, 2015-06-06 11:11--ashutosh.baheti

Hello Dialog,

在和你们能帮我吗erstanding the antenna design of DICE. It is not much understandable from its layout and bill of material.
Also can you specify the specs of the antenna, and its pros and cons vs chip antenna and PCB antenna vs flex antenna?
Can you also comment out on the range of bluetooth with the setup on DICE?

Thanks

Programming DA14580 using SUOTA

Fri, 2015-06-05 10:11--ashutosh.baheti

Hi,

I want to use the SUOTA feature of the DA14580 to program the device for the first time. I want to do this to reduce footprint and remove dependency from external programmers.
Can this be done in industrial level with many devices and can it be done to program the OTP?

If so are there some certain setting that need to be done?

Fast SPI and low-latency BLE - simultaneously?

Thu, 2015-06-04 16:50--krispin

Hi,

I am considering the da14580 for a product that needs to:

1) Receive data over SPI at a rate of 5k bytes / sec
2) Relay data over BLE to an iOS device with low latency (<5ms of delay introduced by the da14580, + ~20ms introduced by the iOS device).

I believe that the da14580's SPI maximum clock rate (8MHz) and maximum BLE data rate (120-140kbps?) can fit these goals, but am unclear about whether or not the da14580's processor can handle BOTH receiving incoming data at this rate, and transmitting it over BLE *simultaneously*.

Is Matching circuit necessary ?

Thu, 2015-06-04 12:05--l00ver1

Hi Dialog !
I have designed a folded IFA which is tuned at 2.45 Ghz for two layers. I have seen that yours IFA that you proposed on pcb trace antenna has a Pi matching circuit.
In the application note you say that:" The RF port is single ended 50 Ω, so no external balun is required". So why do you use the matching circuit?
Can I plug my antenna to the RFIOP without using a matching circuit?
Thanks in advance!

Low Power Mode and Jlink Connection

Thu, 2015-06-04 07:20--cuijinfei

Hi Dialog,

i have added Sample128 and Low Power Mode to my project basics on SDK_3.0.6,Sample128 functional, but Low Power Mode failed, and when i download my project ,Jlink always failed to identify target(it can download sometimes), if i download Sample128 without Low Power Mode Jlink functionnal.

i have done following steps to add Low Power Mode

1. i define CFG_DEEP_SLEEP in da15480_config.h and undefine

2. i comment and uncomment following code with add or comment app_disable_sleep();
