Hi i am developing i beacon using da-14580 ic and i tried to download the ibeacon source code from the following link

but it requires a ibeacon license number
i go to apple ibeacon website to get a license but they are not providing ibeacon licence number anymore
I have already developed ibeacon on ti cc2650 ic but for nor power effency we want to develop a product using DA-14580 chip

I'm working with Murata Smart typeZF/ZY Development Kithttp://wireless.murata.com/datasheet?/RFM/data/ble_dev_env_overview.pdf. I've uploaded Serial Port Service application (hex file) via SmartSnippets. I've also installed DSPS application on my SmartPhone. Sending characters from Smartphone (both Android and IOS) is working fine, but the opposite direction (from EVK to Smartphone) doesn't work properly.

Hi,

I use a PAN1740 with external controller over UART. Is there a hardware flow control supported? When yes in which firmware for the DA14580? I want to use the CTS line to know if the module is ready for getting new data from the controller.

Convert the RSSI into dBm

The following formula allows you to convert the RSSI into dBm:

RSSi (dBm) = (0.474*LRES)–112

The 0.474 value is the RSSI step size, in dB/LSB.

LRES is the decimal value of the RXRSSI[7:0] register. LRES = param->rssi.

-112 dBm will be the minimum read out value for the RXRSSI[7:0] register being 00000000 – no signal condition.

does 14580+flash support "upgrade OTA"?

I read that the BD configuration is optional (AN-B-020 - Step 5 on chapter 7.1.1)

Does this mean that the chip already has one BD on it?

Custom Profile in External Processor Setup using new SDK

I'm having a problem getting a custom profile to work on a custom board designed to work with the murata 14580 chip and external host. I successfully converted the necessary code from the windows proximity report project over to my own host solution and was able to get the it working against the "prox_reporter_ext_spi" project in SDK 5.0.2.1. However, when I include "custs1.h" into user_profiles_config.h and the necessary supporting files (attm_db_128, custs1, custs1_task, etc) the 14580 chip does not respond to a "CUSTS1_CREATE_DB_REQ'.

Hi Dialog,

I have been observing a behavior in my application where I can advertise without problem but I cannot connect.
The peripheral keeps returning 0x3E error (connection cannot be established). And this behavior can only be fixed

I am using DA14580 based Basic EVM kit and till now I was using Proximity Reporter project. Now I want to make custom project of my own which should have similar functionalities as Proximity Reporter. Can someone please help me with that? Let me know if there is any guide already available for this. I am using SDK v5.0.3.
