DA14580 w/SPI-Flash @ Boost Mode

Wed, 2016-08-31 10:12--Jun-ichi Tobe

Hello support,

Config:
DA14580 + SPI Flash
Boost Mode
Battery Voltage 1.8 to 2.5V

When booting system, DA14580 I/O voltage is set to 2.7V.
There is the difference between Battery voltage and IO voltage?
Are there any problems?

Do you have the recomend boot sequence?
(OTP boot --> Secondry boot loader, using P01_PADPWR_CTRL_REG (0x50003070),....)

Can't read charateristic value from iPhone app (LightBlue)

Mon, 2016-08-29 23:03--muxf

Hi dialog team,

I am newcomer in BLE and trying to run the ble_app_peripheral project on DA14580 based on SDK5.0.4. (EVK Pro)The central device is iPhone app LightBlue. My final goal is reading accelerator sensor value controlled by iPhone.

As the first step, I want to see if I can catch the events on the DA14580, to do it, several break points are set in the callback functions, like gattc_write_cmd_ind_handler, custs1_val_ind_req_handler and custs1_val_ntf_req_handler in the file custs1_task.c.

read otp rom content

Mon, 2016-08-29 02:25--uta_lc

Dear Dialogue Support,

I have a DA14580 + external SPI flash set up, is there a way to dump the OTP rom content using JTAG?

I have got a basic dev kit and the cables which allows me to program the external SPI flash of the smart tag. Can I use smart snippets to read the OTP rom of the tag using the set up? Just want to verify if OTP is programmed properly. Any instructions to do so?

Thanks,

product header

Mon, 2016-08-29 02:05--uta_lc

Dear Dialogue Support,

I'm trying to figure out how to configure product header using Smart snippets / mkimage.

In UM-B-012 page 26, it says, "The application specific “Configuration Offset” is initialized from off4. If off4 is not provided then the “Configuration Offset” field shall be set to 0xFFFFFFFF." What is the "configuration offset" mentioned here? I cannot find info anywhere regarding this. What is the value to be specified for creating the product header if I only care about BD address?

supply IC by LDO or External DC-DC

Sun, 2016-08-28 07:15--sergey_kolen

Dear Sir,
according to the datasheet, the sensetivity typical is -93dBm and a minimum is -70dBm, we would like to get reciever with a high as possible sensetivity.

1. The RX sensetivity is depend on supply voltage?
2. According datasheet typical sensetivity value is -93dBm and maximal is -70dBm . why the range is so wide?
3. If IC supplied by external DC-DC or external LDO , is matter for high performanse of sensetivity or the IC have internal filter on supply voltage?
4. could you please send us grapgh of BER/PER vs SNR?

thanks
