different identifiers for two sensors using the same hardware (Chip DA14583 )

Hello,

I have a question concerning the DA14583.
I want to know how we can have different identifiers recognized by Android BTLE for two sensors using the same hardware (Chip DA14583 )?

Thanks for your answer.

Kaoutar.

Hi kaoutar,

Hi kaoutar,

I dont understand your question can you please elaborate a bit ? what you are trying to do? You have two peripheral devices with different sensor on each device and you would like a different service UUID ?

Thanks MT_dialog

Hi MT_Dialog,

Hi MT_Dialog,

In fact, I have two cards with two sensors that use the same hardware (chip DA14583) , and when I run a scan from the application DSPS , I don't find them both, but when I use a single device (DA14580) , I can found it on DSPS.

So my question is about: should we have different identifiers to scan two sensors in DSPS ? if so, how to do this?
I hope, I explained the idea of the problem and you get what I mean.

Thanks in advance.

Kaoutar.

Hi kaoutar,

Hi kaoutar,

You can just change the bd addresses of each device and the DSPS application will see both of them also you can change the name in order to know the sensor attached to each device.
