Dear Dialogue support,
We are currently using Pro kit + DA14583 for development and we need to measure the deep sleep current using the set up.
In the training material, it says to set up deep sleep mode, CFG_BOOT_FROM_OTP must be defined. Is it still true for DA14583 or this config is only for DA14580/581?
Regarding SUOTA on 14583, in which scheme does SUOTA work, scheme 1 (no OTP used) or 2 (OTP used) as described in AN-B-10? My understanding is that 14583 is 14580 + internal flash where OTP has been flashed with proprietary boot loader. In this case, the secondary boot loader is programmed into the internal flash. It sounds like scheme 1 is used here (everything in flash, no OTP is used). In this case, page 6 of AN-B-10 says scheme 1 "Useful for development purposes and/or when very low power consumption is not a requirement for the final product." Will deep sleep (maximum power saving) work in this config?

In fact， 583 doesn't support deep sleep mode, which is highlighted Page 7 in DA14583_DS_v1.1.pdf .

The 583 doesn’t support deep sleep because in order to use deep sleep you will have to use the OTP (in deep sleep the 580 will wake up in every connection interval and copy the OTP content to the SYSRAM, since the SYSRAM is switched off), the OTP in the 583 is already burned with the secondary bootloader (or you can burn the advanced bootloader for additional functionality). The secondary bootloader to the OTP will switch on the SPI and the 583 will boot from the SPI. As far as I can understand the process is time and energy consuming so the benefit of deep sleep is eliminated by the wakeup and the copying procedure in every connection interval.

1.If need to boot from otp, the answer is yes. The micro definition "CFG_BOOT_FROM_OTP" is needed for 583.
2.And in my opinion, it is the same with extended sleep mode
