In datasheet i found wakeup from deep sleep takes about 1ms ( in buck mode) but no value is given for wakeup from Extended Sleep mode ? any idea ?

Hi Mohit, are you interested in just the tiime it takes to wake (from extended sleep to MCU active) or from extended sleep to say advertising ? BR JE_Dialog
extended sleep to MCU active is important for my application
OK, let me check.... i suspect it will be similar to the wake from deep sleep minus OTP mirroring time..

Hi, JE_Dialog
i am intrested in the time about the sleep mode. Can you tell me :
1. the wakeup time from deep sleep to start advertise or the stack is ready for communication normally.
2. the time from active mode to deep sleep most quicklly.
Hi Zuma,
1. The wake up time from Deep Sleep by the time the 580 senses the external pulse and starts the peripheral initializations and the crystal stabilization is approximatelly 5ms, after that time the system in ready to schedule BLE commands. But you can send commands to the queue of the stack as soon as you wake up even when the BLE is down, when it wakes up they should be served.
2. I dont get the second question, can you please elaborate a bit.
Thanks MT_dialog
Hi, MT_dialog
Thanks for your reply, the second question, i want to know that :
How much time the DA14580 will take from normal work state to deep sleep state if i has cleared all the BLE timers and set the deep sleep mode correctly ?
What's more, can you tell me both the time cost during the state switch between extend sleep mode and normal work mode as well ?
Many thanks.
Hi zuma,
The 580 falls to sleep every time there is no BLE activity, even if you have set the BLE timers the 580 will still fall to sleep and wake up when the time set at the timer elapses. When there's a connection or advertising the 580 will wake up every time it has to transmit/receive and fall to sleep again when the BLE event finishes or when the program allows it.
Thanks MT_dialog
