Please let me know is there any power out from the board to power up external devices or interfaces. I was not able to get any from this development board.
Hello Arun, there are no dedicated power output ports and the power rails we have onboard have been filtered to supply clean 3v3 and 5V to the main onboard ADC that requires clean supply. You can find schematics on
Hi, After looking through entire pins I am getting around 3.0V from the pines near to J1, J2, J3 and J4 and the ground pins from the - marked lines. Whether I can use these rails. Whether it will cause any overall performance problem. I mean how much maximum current that I can retrieve from here!
the voltages at pin #1 (small triangle) of J1~J4 are labeled Vbat. This Vbat is the supply for the DA14580 daughterboard and it's current is being measured by the current measuring circuit. Drawing a large current, or a strongly changing current could negatively influence the DA14580 performance, and should be avoided.
In case you need a 3V supply for external circuits, it's best to take this voltage from J13/3, J13/4 or from J24/1. This is the on-board LDO output. This LDO can deliver an additional 100 mA. If more current is needed (<300 mA) the TP7 (3.0V) can be used. It's the output of the LDO for the FTDI and the ADC chips. +5.0V can be taken from the USB voltage directly (VBUS).
If the supply is for an external flash memory, and current must be measured by PowerProfiler, it's okay to connect to Vbat.
Hello Arun, which board : expert or basic ?
