some questions about the Production Line Tool(PLT)

Dear Sirs,
I have some questions about the Production Line Tool(PLT).

1. The case of burning the OTP header in the PLT("7.1.5 OTP Header” of UM-B-041).

BD-address can burn a different value for each DUT by setting the initial value.
Do Custom Specific Field can be the same way?

2. Custom Specific Field, word-addresses 0x7F60, 0x7F5C, 0x7F58 and 0x7F54 can be used for customer usage.

I am using TypeZY chip(by murata). Murata says that Do not use the 0x7F5C and 0x7F60.
I am in trouble because using address is little.

Is there an address where I can use the other?

3.我用TypeZY芯片。可以TypeZYbe using the PLT?

Best Regards.

Hi Coral0310,

Hi Coral0310,

1. Yes by given an initial value the PLT tool can burn succesive values on each DUT, no the same isn't applied on the custom specific fields at the time but its on the wish list.

2. We 've replied to the second question and if i remember correctly we ve sent a piece of the updated spec about the addresses you are able to use, please check this posthttp://support.dialog-semiconductor.com/area-whehe-user-can-set-data-otp..., although if i remember correctly, some of the OTP headers are allready burned by Murata like the unique id value of the OTP.

3.Yes, since they include a 580 you can program those chips with the PLT tool.

Thanks MT_dialog

Dear Dialog staff,

Dear Dialog staff,

Thank you for your reply.

1. Thank you. However, I do not understand here.
>>no the same isn't applied on the custom specific fields at the time but its on the wish list.

Please let me about "wish list".
"Wish list" and “bd_address.ini”-file are the same thing?
(DA14580_Production_Line_Tool_v_3.170.2.36 > executables > params > “bd_address.ini" )

2. Sorry, My question is information was not enough.

Yes. I remember this.
I wanted to ask about the following points:

I found the following it in the document, "word-addresses 0x7F60, 0x7F5C, 0x7F58 and 0x7F54 can be used for customer usage."(e.g. "7.1.5 OTP Header” of UM-B-041).

This is less than the writable address that I know.
I want to know whether PLT be able to writing to any other custom specific fields.

3.Thank you. I was relieved to hear it.

Thank you.

Hi Dialog Staff,

Hi Dialog Staff,

Thank you.
I was a misunderstanding of the meaning of the "wish list".

I'm looking for a way that can be done to burning and checking of the FW at the same time.
I was thinking the PLT is good.
However, If PLT can’t increment of Custom Specific Fields, can not use it.
(I need to set a unique ID for each chip. I plan to buring the ID value to Custom Specific Fields.)

Is there something a good way?

Best Regards.
