I can't undestand what you are trying to do, but from your final question i think that this is not supported from the 580. The device can support only one role at the time. Although it is possible to switch roles. What you can do is to send a GAPM_RESET_CMD to the stack and then a GAPM_SET_DEV_CONFIG_CMD (in order to set the new role) after that you are ready to go and advertise. Sorry but we don't have a sample code for this scenario (if this scenario is what you are looking for).
