advertising with keyboard application

I have the keyboard application loaded on the board, doesn't the board advertise in this case? I am trying to detect it using Connection Manager with the dongle acting as a peripheral and scanning, but it seems like the board isn't advertising. I would have suspected to find DA-14580_01 as one of the detected Bluetooth devices.
