Detailed current consumption on Connection Event

Hi,
I can't find detailed information of connection event on slave side.
I would like to know the detailed current consumption and timings:
Connected mode, Slave @3V@0dBm
- sleep (betweenb two events)
-wake-up
-RX
-radio turnaround
-TX
- power down...

The goal is to be able to compute -in ideal condition and with no data- the average current with connection interval of 1s, 5s, etc...
Thanks for your help.
Stan

Edit: Could you please also give the average current while advertising once per second (no data) ? Thanks.

Hi Stan,

Hi Stan,

sorry for late reply.

First, the last question:
the average current when advertising once per second (three Tx/Rx events on the three advertising channels) = 0.0115 mA.
A charge of 11.5 µC has been consumed during this 1000 msec period.

For the rest of the questions:
have you been trying our SmartSnippets tool, and especially the PowerProfiler tool in it?
It can be downloaded from the Forum Resources.

The PowerProfiler shows the current (peak, average) and consumed charge over a certain event time, and can determine the best strategy for you: deep-sleep or extended-sleep depending on interval timing.

I think this will answer most of your questions.

best regards, BB-Dialog/Dialog Support Team.

Thanks. I'll try the

Thanks. I'll try the PowerProfiler, I did not realize that it could be used without the EVB.

I can see that the average

I can see that the average current is 11,5 uA with an advertising interval of 1 second.
What will the average current be, with a connection interval of 1 second?

Hello Freddy, for connection

Hello Freddy, for connection event, with a say 1 byte payload, average is about 9.7uA and at 23 bytes its 10.8uA average. BR JE_DIalog
