How do I import projects/host_apps/Windows/Proximity/Monitor to Eclipse IDE? I tried importing an existing project and get the following:
17:45:20 **** Build of configuration Default for project monitor ****
make all
Cannot run program "make": Launching failed
Error: Program "make" not found in PATH
Thanks

Hi OTLABS,
Please try to use SmartSnippets Studio (SST) and import the projects/host_apps/Windows/Proximity/Monitor there. You will find more information regarding the SST on theUM-B-057 SmartSnippets Studio User Manual. I am able to run the project correctly in my side.
Thanks, PM_Dialog
Doesn't work in Smart Snippets Studio either. After importing projects/host_apps/Windows/Proximity/Monitor there is no tool chain selected, if I click on preferences. There is no information on importing host projects in the user manual. I was able to import and build a target app but not this host app.
Thanks
Hi OTLABS,
Would it be possible to share screenshots with the steps you are following in order to import the project? Are you able to build the prox_reporter SDK project in the SmartSnippets Studio (SST)? The Eclipse project is under 6.0.14.1114\projects\target_apps\ble_examples\prox_reporter\Eclipse SDK path. Additionally what is the version of the SST?
Thanks, PM_Dialog
Yes I can build prox_reporter in SST. Screenshots are attached of import of projects/host_apps/windows/proximity/monitor. I think this project should use minGW compiler for windows but no toolchain is compatible according to properties. Version number of SST is shown in screenshot.
Thanks
Hi OTLABS,
Apologies for my previous user – it was for another forum user - now is deleted.
Please find my toolchain configuration. I am able to run it properly…
Thanks, PM_Dialog
Why does my toolchain screenshot shows no compatible toochains? Why doesn't my toolchain editor look like yours? I have minGW installed on my Windows PC.
Thanks
Hi OTLABS,
Could you please try to re-install the SmartSnippets Studio? What is the version of the tool that you are using?
Thanks, PM_Dialog
