can I reconfigure the integrated components

Dear,

I want to know that whether I can reconfigure the integrated components(resistor, capacitor, etc.) to make desired analog circuit in GreenPAK or not.

I'm using the model SLG46517M, and I want to replace the discrete components with a one simple chip(GreenPAK).

Is it possible?

And there's one more question, are there any ways to synthesize the programmed GreenPAK with verilog or other simulation tools?

I want to simulate the whole system which is composed of my external circuit and GreenPAK chip.

Thanks for your questions,

1. Regarding the analog circuit you want to implement with GreenPAK, replacing the analog circuit depands on functionality and comlexity of this circuit. Could you show me your schematic and I will tell you if it is possible to integrate in GPAK. You need to know, that all outputs, except P-FET dedicated outputs, are digital (either Push Pull or NMOS Open Drain), so it would be hard to create true analog schematic. 2. Mostly all GreenPAK ICs support their own Simulation Tool, but unfortunately, it is not avialiable for SLG46517M. Our engineers are working on implementing the Simulation for this particular IC. There are no varified convertors from GreenPAK to verilog or other simulation tools. So if you want to simulate the GreenPAK with your external companents, you have to create it by your own and I will support you during the process.

1. It's a quite simple circuit, just three resistors, one capacitor, one inductor. It's just the front-end part, and other parts will be made by myself.

I fully understand that to make right judgment whether it is possible or not, I should show you the schematic.

In case you need, I will sent the schmetic by email. But it's a really simple circuit, so I just want to know how I can reconfigure the circuit if it's possible.

2. You said that the simulation is not available on SLG46517M, then how can I test the chip before programming?

I think the chip is quite simlar to the model SLG46537M, and I had checked SLG46537M simulation is available (right?).

If I design a circuit with SLG46537M, simulate it, and make the same design with SLG46517M, will SLG46517M model work as the same as designed SLG46537M? (I think it will work, but I want to make it sure.)

1. GreenPAK has only Pull Up/Pull Down resistors on PINs, no other resistors are aviable for progarmming. GPAK also doesn't have internal capacitor to program. But if you want, let's say, to recreate RC circuit in GPAK you can use Rising, Falling or Both edge delay, which is very similar to RC circuit. Basically GPAK is perfect to built it on logical components, since it has a bunch of LUTs (using which you create standard or custom logic gates), DFFs, Latches, etc.

2. If you have SLG46517M and Advanced DevBoard you can easily test your program using the Emulation Tools. In Emulation Mode chip will not be programmed, but you can test your design with the hardware. Please see the attachment

And, yes, you can Simulate the SLG46537 to check your design, since these ICs are very similar.

It's very helpful to me. Futhermore, I don't understand the way of recreating RC circuit with rising, falling, edge delay.

If you don't mind, would you show me the example of the circuit you mentioned?

When you apply some voltage on RC circuits you must wait some time until the voltage appears on the output and you need to wait some time after the input voltage goes low, until the RC circuit output goes LOW. This time is condisidered to be equal R*C. This coresponds the voltage level of ~0.7*Volltage_input. So using both edge delay in GPAK you can create the same time delay which would accord to time constant R*C. Please see the attachemnent.
