Dear Forum
When having 2 different footprint compatible GreenPAK devices on otherwise identical boards, production testing and later the register updater need to recognise which GreenPAK device is actually assembled (in my example SLG46824 or SLG46826 or SLG46533). Something like a WHO_AM_I register.
I think this is done on the dialog development kit as well, and maybe register bits 1839-1836 (Product Family ID) is at least part of what I'm looking for. However, detailed info is missing in the datasheet.
Please provide more information.
Thanks for information
Peter

Hi Peter,
the information that you are requesting is proprietary to Dialog, that's why there are not any details shared.
I will contact you directly to discuss possible solutions to this issue.
Thanks and regards,
Pavlo
Hi Pavlo
Off-line interaction answered my question satisfyingly, thanks.
Best regards,

Hi Peter,
I have been looking at a similar possibility and noticed that the SLG46826 and SLG46533 are NOT footprint compatible. The SLG46826 has 4 pins instead of 3 on the short side. Annoying!

There, you're right! I didn't review the footprint very well, since package name, dimensions and pin count are identical.
To bad, device migration abilty would be a big plus, but it seems not to be on their agenda.
Thanks for your hint,
Peter
