How to download updated hex file to Smart Tag?

Hi,

I got a SmartTag (//www.wsdof.com/products/bluetooth-smart/reference-d...) and its source code athttps://support.dialog-semiconductor.com/da14580-smart-tag-reference-des.... If I wanted to update the source code and download new hex file to the smart tag, what hardware and software tools are needed and is there an instruction about it?

P.S.: the smart tag I got has TAG-connect interface instead of mating connector.
