DA14581 Wearable not booting / battery issue on a new kit

We purchased the kit and flashed the SW that we built using the downloaded wearable SW. We do not see anything on the display after this. Not sure if there is even charge in the wearable . Are we missing anything ?

When we put the wearable tact switch in upward direction and connect the USB , we see 3V from battery but nothing on display.

Hi Apitha,

Hi Apitha,

Thanks for your question. Do you mean the DA14681 Wearable kit?

//www.wsdof.com/products/da14681-wearable-development-kit

Please clarify it, because you mentioned the DA14581 SoC.

Thanks, PM_Dialog

Yes I mean the wearable kit.

Yes I mean the wearable kit. We flashed the wrbl.bin after we received the kit. But nothing works after flashing this software. No display and no BLE.

  3. Set all the required jumper headers
  4. Connect the CIB with the Wearable board
  5. Flip the switch on the Wearable board in the position “DOWN"

Hello,

Hello,

The above 5 steps are followed the same way.Following we did the below

1. Built wrbl.bin using SDK (DA14681_WRBL_v_1.150.6)

2. Flashed the same using Smart snippet studio (Flashing was successful)

3.Connected Serial terminal to see outputs (With debug build)

4. We see only battery voltage being displayed. Display is not up and no advertising done by wearable.

Hi Apitha,

Hi Apitha,

Can you please clarify what you are trying to accomplish? It would be very helpful to provide me more inputs. If you download the code into QSPI flash, is the kit functional?

Thanks, PM_Dialog

Hello,

Hello,

We are looking for using the wearable to transmit the Gyro sensor values and read them on the App.

When we received the kit , the werable did advertise and we received sensor values on the android app. Later we intended to build , flash default SDK / wearable SW application (Wrbl project) from studio to be trying a successful flashing. We generated the wrbl.bin after the build and flashed .

Following this step , wearable is not up and running. No updates on display and no advertising by wearable.
