Using the GreenPAK Advanced Development Platform I emulated and programmed an IC. Then, any further attempt to emulate fails with this message. Is this normal? I thought that once a chip was programmed it could still be used for emulation.
确认将新的芯片插入袜子et works. The chip is in fact programmed and appears to work independently of the dev board.
I'm using GreenPAK Designer 6.18 on Linux. The reported HW-FW revision for the dev board is 1.3.1-2.7
Thanks,
Peter

Are you saying the attached instructions are wrong?
Instructions are right, but in some case for success emulation you need to disconnect all staff from testpoints and have a good socket connection
Hi Peter, the SLG46537V has an option to disable I2C block and use its pins for another (custom) purpose. I2C block is always used for rogramming and emulation, so if you've disabled it you'll lose acess to I2C and emulation as well. Otherwise you can emulate any design even on alresdy programmed OTP NVM with unlimited attempts. So please check if I2C block is disabled in your design. Thanks for your question, let me know if you have any.
Yeah, it was i2c. Can't enable it though, because I need the pins for other signals. I'll just have to leave a blank in there for emulation.
Thanks.
