Socket Test Fail

I can't program or emulate when using the Advanced Development Platform with Training Adaptor #1; it show the error "socket test launch failed".

If I then press "skip and proceed" it then report "unknown error, Details: I2C transfer fail"

The board knows the device is present, it gives a different error if removed.

could you please shre a screenshot of your debugger mode running? Please check wether internal VDD source is turned on.

I've got a second dev board

I've got a second dev board and tried with that. It works. I'll assume the first board or GreenPAK IC is broken.
