PMIC wanted for MX6SLL, with charger

Hi,

We are designing an i.MX6SLL device with a display an Li-Ion battery. 5k initial production, with the option of using on further designs.

We would like to see if Dialog can supply us with a suitable PMIC, particularly one that integrates charging from USB into the PMIC.

The DA9053 has caught my attention, and I am wondering if it is compatible with the i.MX6SLL with LPDDR2/3.

Could you contact me about this, please?
We have been talking to Avnet, so it is possible you may be getting the same enquiry through them.

Best regards,
Rob

Hello Rob,

Hello Rob,

你有电流和电压requiremen吗ts?

The iMX6SLL has low current requirements, so the DA9053 or the DA9070/73 with a DA9230/31 could be good fitts for the current requirements and charger.

The problem we have with the DA9053 and the DA9070/73 might require custom OTPs, however we need certain volumes before we can consider custom OTPs.

Our DA9061/62/63 have the ability to be in program in-circuit, however they dont have an integrated charger.

Could you send me your power requirments?

kind regards,

Elliott

Thanks for the response.

Thanks for the response.
Here's the power requirements, which I largely extracted from the MX6SLL datasheet maximums.

We need to support the various power modes on the MX6 to prolong battery life.

In the document I lumped all the 1.2V rails together - NXP actually use multiple switchers to cover everything.

Best regards,
Rob

Thanks.

Thanks.
I just realised I miscalculated the VBAT totals intop the PMIC, but the individual power rails should be correct.

Just to mention that I've

Just to mention that I've emailed Elliott and Sean about moving forward, in case anyone is picking up their emails while they're off.
