DA14681 device not detected

I am currently working with SmartSnippets Studio v 1.6.3.918 .I have a DA14681 01000 chip mounted on a custom built board connected to my laptop via USB port.unfortunately SmartSnippets is not able to detect any device.It gives the message "No devices have been attached".
In the SmartSnippets Toolbox , I checked in the "UART only" radio button and it was able to recognize the port that my device was connected which is COM3.But still it wasn't able to detect the device.

Any help or guidance to resolve the issue will be much appreciated

Could you please let me know if your custom board is fully functional? Are you able to program it but you are unable to connect it with SmartSnippets toolbox? Which version of toolbox are you using?

Could you please provide me some screenshots with the steps you are following in order to open the SmartSnippets toolbox? Also, I would highly recommend you to have a look at the UM-B-083 user manual in order to make sure that you have correctly the tool installed and you have the correct configurations? You can download the user manual if toy hit to the question button (?) on the top menu of the toolbox.
