Hi vanaja,

Hi vanaja,

Thank you for the feedback on the documentation system. We are in the process of updating website early next year and will offer a much better user experience. Regarding the UM-B-003 user manual, this is quite old document and it is for SDK3 . Be aware that we do not currently support this version of the SDK. That’s why you are unable to find this document in our support portal. I would strongly recommend you to download and move into our latest version of SDK (version 5.0.4) for DA14580/1/2/3 family products.

For downloading the latest SDK, please go to the support portal in the 14580 "Product" in the "Software & Tools" tab and then you will be able to find the SDK for the 14580 SoC. For your convenience, you can follow the link below as well:

https://support.dialog-semiconductor.com/resource/sdk504-da14580123

The SDK includes the source code of the SDK along with some examples that will help you to develop your product. You will also find Documentation, Tutorials and Guidelines in the "Documents" tab that will boost up the development.

For getting started with our SDK, I would highly suggest you to have look intoUM-B-050 : DA1458x Software Developers Guide (SDK5)andUM-B-051 : DA14580 Software Platform Reference (SDK5)user manuals. Both of them might help you to understand the overall system architecture, components, Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) as well as the development tool chain, environment and process

Thanks, PM_Dialog

I am using the latest SDK itself. But in available documents here and there they direct to non-excised documents.

looking forward to better documents.

Hi vanaja,

Hi vanaja,

The link that you have posted is about how to boot form serial interfaces. Please, hit to the link below in order to download it:

https://support.dialog-semiconductor.com/system/files/resources/AN-B-001%20-%20Booting%20from%20serial%20interfaces%20v2.1.pdf

这个文件位于文档-> Application tab of DA14580 support page.

Regarding your second question, do you mean to share you the user manual of Smart Snippets studio? If yes, you can download it form the Software&Tools tab or from the link below:

https://support.dialog-semiconductor.com/system/files/resources/User%20manual%20UM-B-083.pdf

Since you are using Keil, the firmware is download it into the SystemRAM and not into the external SPI Flash. This means that the firmware will be lost after any reset or power off. If you would like to download you program into the external SPI Flash, you have to use the SmartSnippets toolbox.

Thanks, PM_Dialog
