SLG59M1641 Control Pin Pull-down resistor value

Hi,

这是一个问题,已向我的地方FAE and I want to put it here to benefit others who may have the same question:

In the SLG59M1641 datasheet, it mentions that no pull-down resistor is built into the chip on the ON1 and ON2 pin. If an outside pull-down resistor is used, what is the maximum resistor value we can use to reliably pull down these two pins with a Vin = 1.8V to 5V?

Thanks,

Jimmy

adding one more condition: we want to pass 1A current to the 1641. Due to the design constraint, connecting the ON pin to ground is not the optional.

Hello. Since SLG59M1641 has

Hello. Since SLG59M1641 has active low ON control, so internal pull down resistor doesn't make sense, because if you leave ON pin floating the load switch will be always ON and typically it needs load switch to be OFF. For external pull down at least 1M resistor is sufficient.
