Hi Dialog team,
I found this post:https://support.dialog-semiconductor.com/forums/post/dialog-smartbond-bl...where another user identified that the DA14586 current consumption in extended sleep mode is considerably higher in hotter temps (they found > 8uA). I understand that it's a property of silicon to it expect to see an increase in current consumption as the temperature rises, but to what extent? In the same post you replied that currently there are no official measurements regarding the temperature dependency on power consumption of the 585/586. What about unofficial measurements?
For DA14585, please provide estimated current consumption numbers at 85C for IBAT(DP_SLP)_BUCK_16kB, IBAT(EXT_SLP)_BUCK_32kB, and IBAT(EXT_SLP)_BUCK_64kB (section 3.3 of the datasheet).
Thank you!
Dialog Team,
Have you had a chance to look into the estimated high temp current numbers for DA14585? I need this data to calculate the power budget for my system.
Thanks!
现在已经一个星期以来我最初的post. Will you provide this data?
I’m starting to wonder if the reason there are no “official” measurements that you will share is because the results aren’t favorable. Should I assume the greater than 8uA found by the other poster is accurate?
Hi srauchfuss,
Sorry for the delay, but we haven’t any data that we can release. I am checking if there are some data to release online and I will let you know as soon as possible.
Thanks, PM_Dialog
PM_Dialog,
Any updates on if you will share the estimated current consumption numbers at higher temps? It sounds like you definitely have this data, why is there a question about if it can be shared or not?
Thank you!
Hi srauchfuss,
Dialog is not providing max values for the current consumption in the product datasheet. Below we provide a few numbers that will give you an indication of what you can expect. This should be sufficient to confirm if your measurement set-up is correct. The values below are from a few random samples. This is not the same as a typical or average over a large number from production.
Parameter
25C
85C
IBAT(DP_SLP)_BUCK_16kB
1.2 uA
6.3 uA
IBAT(EXT_SLP)_BUCK_32kB
1.8 uA
10.9 uA
Thanks, PM_Dialog
