Rechargeable Battery range 4.6V support

Hi,
As I studied, your battery supporting range is currently from 0.9 to 3.3v. We have needs in using from .1.8-4.6v for rechargeable battery.
Some of the chip vendors seem to start to support this range as I mentioned above.
Do you have near plan to support this range in the battery voltage config?

It is easy to config outside circuit when the product size is not constrained. Besides, outside regulator takes extra power consumption.

We would really like to see the possibility to have this into your roadmap and we can program with your chip with peace in mind.
Great thanks.

你好,

你好,

on 14580 : you would need to run from an external source to support the 1.8 to 4.6V range. On future products, we are looking at wider input supply range.

我们有一个number of customers who use the device from this kind of supply range, and typically they just supply the device with 1.8V and use it in boost mode, or if they have as 3V rail in already in the system, supply from 3.0V and use in buck mode.

Thank you JE,

Thank you JE,

Thank you four your quick reply. Do you think the future product support can be release in 2015 Q1 or Q2?

We are now trying to use external circuit to satisfy this design need but our products are targeting to as small dimension as possible, and in our product, we plan to use it up to 8-10 hours before a next recharge. This is somehow bringing more constrain in using regulators.

p.s. Sorry I put some wrong number, it should be from 4.6v to 2.6v.

Merry Christmas,

你好,

你好,

I would anticipat it will he H2 next year. We do have customers using our DA14580 with an external regulator : it can still provide incredible power efficiency and small size with the CSP package.
