Lowering System Clock

Hi,

Would it be possible to use a 32kHz system clock? Only UART peripheral with a baud rate of 9600 is turned on.

Hi jlabuac,

There is the option to use the 32K as a system clock from the CLK_CTRL_REG but i am not sure i get what exactly you would like to do. You won’t be able to get or send data with that clock over UART even in a low speed as 9600.

Hi jlabuac,

As has been mentioned in the previous post, you can use the 32K as a system clock, but you will get inadequate baud rate in order to send or receive data over UART.
