no ATTACH,QSPI options for debug

Hi Dialog,
I have no ATTACH\QSPI options in Debug menu item.
And I checked UM-B-044,047,056,057,,,and can't find the answer.
How to create it manually?

Thanks

Hi jamesleo-konka,

Hi jamesleo-konka,

That seems a bit weird, are you sure about that ? Do you have a project selected when you hit the drop down box from the debug button ? Those configurations are by default in the tool when you open a project and they are located in the config folder (the .launch files) of the SDK. Try to erase the metadata folder (warning: you will lose all the enviroment customization and you will have to re-import all the SDK) but this will clean all possible corruptions.

Thanks MT_dialog

Hi, MT_DIalog,

Hi, MT_DIalog,
Yes , I selected one project before hit the drop down box/ or right click on project -->debug as.
I've done the debug for a few times.
But now there is no ATTATCH/QSPI items there. (2 items are: 1. Local c/c++ applications 2. Smartbond applications via JLink GDB server)

Is there a safe way to restore the default debug options?

Thanks

Hi jamesleo-konka,

Hi jamesleo-konka,

I am not able to replicate what you are experiecing, when importing a project in my workspace both of the debug options are available, so i assume that in someway the .metadata folder that the eclipse stores its configuration file got corrupted. So try to follow what i ve indicated above or create a new workspace and re-import your project.

Thanks MT_dialog

Hi MT_Dialog,

Hi MT_Dialog,
Today I've tried to remove .matadata, but the problem is still there.
First I delete all the projects in 'Project Explorer', -- no QSPI/ATTACH in debug drop down menu.
Then I remove the directory '.matadata', -- no QSPI/ATTACH in debug drop down menu.

Should I reinstall the SmartSnipptes?

Thanks

Hi jamesleo-konka,

Hi jamesleo-konka,

Try first to import to your Smart Snippets and a fresh copy of the SDK, are you able to see the DEBUG and ATTACH options ? Try to do this in a newly created workspace.

Thanks MT_dialog
