Using SPI to external MCU [UM-B-013]

I am attempting to follow UM-B-013 to setup two DA14580DEVKITs to communicate over SPI.
When in this configuration I would like to be able to use the USB/J-Link interface to debug.
Is this possible?
Could you provide a figure showing how header J4 is used in this case? The information in UM-B-013 seems to be for a different board as there is no J26 on the DA14580 Developers Kit.

Hi Barry,

Hi Barry,

J26 refers to the jumpers on the Expert Kit. You are using the basic DK I guess?
J26 are the UART RTS/CTS signals.
基本装备这些信号确实是阁下,ports P0_6 & P0_7, directly below the UART Rx/Tx P0_4/P0_5.

Please note that the basic DK boards have a SPI Flash memory connected to P0_0, P0_3, P0_5 and P0_6.
So make sure you have the DA14580 pins: these are on the left-hand side of J4.
Please refer to the schematic which is availble on the support site.

Best regards, BB_Dialog.

Thanks for this confirmation.

Thanks for this confirmation.

The file host_apps\da14580\proximity\reporter\host_proxr.uvproj as referenced in UM-B-013 does not appear to exist is software release 3.0.6

Hi Barry,

Hi Barry,

I just downloaded it again from the website, and I see it in there, also in my already installed PC folder, see below.

\DA1458x_SDK_3.0.6\host_apps\da1458x\proximity\reporter\host_proxr.uvproj

If you still can't find it, I advise you to download the SDK v3.0.6 again.

Best regards, BB_Dialog
