Hi. In the release notes for the new SDK 5.0.4 I see that RCX20K_BIAS has been changed in order to get a more stable RCX clock. Now I just wonder, how much different does this really make? Is it an important/significant update? Have you seen conditions where connections constantly failed but after this fix they don't anymore?

Hi Joacimwe,
We have observed that there were some instabilities in the RCX due to voltage fluctuations and we ve find out that by setting the RCX20K_BIAS to 0 the output frequency is much more constant over changes in the VBAT3 compared to the older setting (RCX20K_BIAS to 1). The instabilities are observered in the frequency of the oscillator and not in the connections of the BLE devices, although theoretically it might cause disconnections in extreme cases, but not constantly failing connections like you mention.
